The Career Readiness Virtual Webinar 2025 brings together students, employers, and academics in a dynamic virtual setting designed to bridge the gap between academic preparation and professional success. Through a combination of interactive sessions, targeted workshops, and collaborative networking opportunities, the event fosters meaningful connections and supports the development of future-ready skills for all participants.
For Students
- Objective: Equip students (NQF 7 & 8) with practical career readiness skills and promote pathways to professional membership (Tax Adviser SA).
- Networking: Students engage directly with employers and academic mentors, participate in speed-interview sessions, and access exclusive webinars to build professional connections.
For Employers
- Objective: Facilitate recruitment opportunities and showcase CPD offerings for firm development, while promoting Workplace Provider and Practitioner sign-on.
- Networking: Employers interact with a pool of prepared student candidates in virtual breakouts, join panel discussions, and gain visibility through the virtual employer wall and post-event features.
For Academic Lecturers
- Objective: Foster collaboration between partner institutions and SAIT, encourage Professional Designation sign-on, and provide CPD incentives.
- Networking: Academics connect with employers and students, participate in CPD events, and contribute to discussions on professional development and curriculum alignment.
